'A Poetic Thought'
I've always had this idea that I would add a 'thought of the day' in the form of a poem. A 'poetic thought' as it were. This page, then, is for that. There you go.
It might be daily or weekly or monthly, but whenever I think of them I'll write them down ,and when I get around to it I'll share them too!
I have 'poetic thoughts' all the time. I live my life by poetry. And there is never a better time that I have a poetic thought, than when I am surrounded by nature and walking by the river where I live. It's where I'm at my happiest and most blissful. So I've included a photograph by the 'River Ythan' at the bottom of the page, to inspire anyone who is reading my 'poetic thoughts'.

'We're getting into late Summer,
the start of the month of August.
A glorious day, of Sun and warmth,
and a family visit, to my childhood park.
There's my school, there's my nursery.
Days of yesterday, days of yonder,
days of old and new.
For today, and for tomorrow,
those days for me and you.
The nights are drawing in.
We are old. Yet we are young.

'Evening, in early September.
The Sun is shining through my window,
bright in the hours before Sunset,
easing to a gentle calm of light.
And when the Sun shines,
it gives me Hope for the future.
RAutumn unto Winter unto Spring.'

'It is a cold & dark January evening,
the outside looks chilly & uninviting,
with the winter clouds high above,
while the indoors is embraced with warmth,
the warmth of hot chocolate & toast.'

'Dreich, dreich, dreich!
The pitter patter, pitter patter,
of water droplets hitting the garage roof,
as darkness falls, the night-time dawns,
and the day-time fades into slumber'
