A list of interesting websites (which I'll update as I go along!).
PERSONAL:
'Flight Through Eternity' - website for my 'Doctor Who' journey.
'Wanted Records' - my cousin's website.
WRITING:
'Haworth Hodgkinson' - poet and playwright, composer and improvising musician.
THE NIGHT SKY:
'The Sky at Night' - the website for the long running astronomy programme, from the BBC, and formerly with the late Sir Patrick Moore. A quick search of the BBC site reveals many other interesting pages too - on both space & stargazing.
INSPIRING PEOPLE (in writing, art & science):
'The Wilfred Owen Association' - an influential poet, and great voice, of the First World War. One of my favourite poets.
'Wallace Online' - the writings of the naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace (co-founder of the theory of evolution). The first complete edition, including a comprehensive compilation of his specimens.
'Darwin Online' -the published, and unpublished, writings of the naturalist Charles Darwin (co-founder of the theory of evolution). Includes a catalogue of his every publication and manuscript in the world.
'Vincent Van Gogh Gallery' and 'The Vincent Van Gogh Gallery' - the art of Vincent Van Gogh, my favourite artist, on two websites.
'Vincent Van Gogh - The Letters' - the letters of Vincent Van Gogh, a window into his world.
